We began with Jane (Gabbard) Becker, a personal friend, who introduced us into the Miss Ohio Program She was third runner-up to Miss Ohio in 1991 and 1992.
After Jane was past the age of competition, Anne and Ken began the Miss
Stark County Pageant in 1994.
Miss
Stark County is one of many preliminary programs to the Miss Ohio Scholarship
Program. We are a part of the Miss
America Organization, providing young women in Ohio the opportunity to compete
for Scholarship money and the chance to become Miss Ohio and Miss America. We
are an open program in the state of Ohio. More information can be obtained on
